Brief History of UUI

Welcome to the campus of Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia (UUI), a university dedicated to nurturing future scientists, researchers, professionals, and leaders of Aceh. With a vision to become a World Class University, students are supported by advanced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities managed by the UUI Information System Planning Agency (BAPSI).

These digital facilities allow students to seamlessly connect with the Academic Information System (SIKAD) for online course registration (KRS), access academic information, and enjoy campus-wide high-speed Wi-Fi. UUI offers a variety of premier study programs across three faculties:

• Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES)
• Faculty of Social Sciences and Education (FS2IP)
• Faculty of Science and Technology (FST)

Our programs are meticulously designed to align with current global workforce trends, ensuring UUI graduates possess diverse career opportunities and competitive competencies.

UUI strengthens graduate profiles through professional certifications, including Public Speaking, Entrepreneurship, English Proficiency, and specialized technical skills. Furthermore, all programs are accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), ensuring full compliance with national legal standards.

After nearly a decade of growth—evolving from two colleges, STIKES U’Budiyah and STMIK U’Budiyah—UUI has earned numerous prestigious awards, including:

1. Certified Education and Educator Indonesia (CEEI) Award from the Indonesia Record Center.
2. Top Ten Most Trusted School from the Indonesia Achievement Centre.
3. Platinum Indonesia Award (2013-2014).
4. Indonesia Top Figure Innovative Award 2014 (Best Education Figure of the Year).
5. Indonesia Best 50 Trusted Companies Award 2014.

Global Vision 2025

To achieve the Vision 2025: World Class University, UUI has pioneered strategic domestic and international partnerships. Nationally, we collaborate with Gunadarma University, Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula), Syiah Kuala University, and Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta.

Our international network spans across Europe and Asia, including partnerships with:

• Malaysia: Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP).
• Hungary: Budapest Business School (BBS), Semmelweis University, and Pecs University.
• Croatia: University of Zagreb, University of Dubrovnik, University of Zadar, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and Juraj Dobrila University of Pula.
• Spain: CEDES and SPAINDO.

These collaborations cover joint research, double degree programs, international journal publications, postgraduate education (Master’s and Doctoral levels), and short courses. In November 2013, UUI officially joined the Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) in Malaysia. Our students also actively participate in the Asia Summer Program (ASP).

Modern Facilities and Student Life

UUI is equipped with modern laboratories, advanced lecture halls, and digital libraries, supported by faculty members with Master’s and Doctoral qualifications. Students can engage in various organizations and clubs, such as BEM, U’Budiyah FC, Boxing, Tarung Drajat, English Club, Open Source Users (POS), and the Ubudiyah Heritage dance studio.
